Setting up your fraps

Okay, first of all, download Fraps. I'm not going to tell you where you can find it, even if because if you have half of a brain you should have no trouble finding it.

Now, once you've installed it, switch to the Video tab and here's how you're gonna set it up:

Folder to save movies in - This is where Fraps will be saving the videos as it records. This is pretty much your own call.

Video Capture Hotkey - The hotkey that will tell your fraps to start/stop recording. Your own call too.

Record Sound - I keep it disabled because honestly, no one cares about L2 sound and it makes video
recording heavier.

Half Size/Full Size - This is the size of the captured video frame. If you select Full Size it records the video at the same resolution you're playing the game. If you pick Half Size it'll record the video frame with half the resolution of the resolution you're playing the game with. So obviously, pick Full Size, no one likes retardedly pixelated videos.

25/30/50/60/29.97 - This is the framerate at which the video will be captured. Generally people pick 25 fps because it's smooth enough for L2, and it makes the recording and video size lighter. I personally pick 29.97 because it's smoother, I got a good computer to handle it and it's the standard NTSC framerate.

No Cursor - This will hide your cursor ingame, it's pretty much your own call.

No Sync - Enable this as well, what it will do is record your game without regard for any freezing spikes you might have in the game.
